About Us
Sunrise Ridge Boat Club is a private club that is not a part of the Sunrise Ridge Association, but more of a partner. Although our members must be members in good standing in the Association. The club gets no money from the association from annual member dues or otherwise. The club pays for its own insurance, repairs, maintenance, etc. This partnership keeps the costs of the club from being paid by all members of the association when only 1.5% can be members of the club at any given time. While still being able to provide an amenity to the residents.
Sunrise Ridge Boat Club is celebrating over 60 yeas as a private boat club for the Sunrise Ridge subdivision. Our membership is exclusive to the residents of Sunrise Ridge in Wonder Lake, IL and has had many great people as club members over the years with all of the history being right here in our subdivision. Club members have volunteered and donated to the Sunrise Ridge Association in many ways over the years and will continue to do so in the future. Keeping in mind that both are not-for-profit entities, there are no members putting money in their pockets. The boat club board members are volunteers and so be sure to thank them for the time & donations they make to keep the club the best it can be.
We provide a fantastic opportunity for our small pleasure boating enthusiasts. We provide knowledge, dockage, programs, and other conveniences for members, and we have the unique ambience of a club.
Our goal is to become a family oriented boat club that can provide a variety of social events and programs available to our members and local Sunrise Ridge residents to attend.
Thanks to the sweat-equity and donations of our members, we have been able to provide the special atmosphere and surroundings that our members have come to enjoy, appreciate and expect from our club.
There currently is a waiting list for club membership, but please feel free to reach out to discuss our club.
